When you come to Flaming Gorge it is time to play and relax. Our Ponderosa Cabins provide the perfect setting to enjoy the beauty of the Uinta mountains. Sit on the porch and enjoy the beauty of our private lake stocked with hundreds of trout each year. The sunrises are spectacular!
One of the best parts about the Ponderosa cabins is that each cabin building contains two Ponderosa cabin units. These units have an adjoining door that can be opened to create a big unified cabin. This situation is perfect for friends and family who want to party together and then have your own private space as well.
Don’t forget the outside area around the cabins. Big grassy fields surrounded by towering pines and thousands of wildflowers. Perfect for family gatherings, getting cozy by the fire, fishing off the docks right out your front door, and so much more!

Ponderosa Cabins
Our Ponderosa cabins are wonderful as they are, but we are in the process of updating each of these cabins. So get ready for even more great things to come!
Each cabin consists of one bedroom with a queen bed. A large living area with kitchenette, sofabed, and wood burning stove. The kitchen includes a two burner stovetop, a mini refrigerator with freezer, sink, and microwave.
With custom log furniture, a cozy sofa, beautiful rugs and more, you will love your stay in our Ponderosa Cabins. We geared this cabin specifically for families or larger groups. A covered porch overlooks East Greens Lake and the private docks perfect for fishing for all the trout in our lake. Enjoy meals outside on our picnic tables, or do your cooking over our fire rings. Each of our cabins are just steps away from the seasonal dining and recreation offered on-site.

Nestled right in the beauty of the Ponderosa Pines, each oe of our Ponderosa Cabins is a getaway just waiting for you. Enjoy any one of our 12 Ponderosa cabins located on the West side of East Greens Lake. Or better yet, get a big group of friends or family and book them all out! Loaded with all the essentials, our goal is to make your stay an amazing one.

Free WiFi In Lodge
We have free reliable dedicated internet in our Lodge. If you need internet in your cabin we have personal starlinks available for rental. Book these early as they book out quickly.
Kitchenette
Each cabin includes a mini refrigerator, 4 cup coffee maker, microwave, and two burner range.
Covered Porches
Each of our cabins have covered front porches with seating. Take a load off and relax while you enjoy the wildlife and views from our Flaming Gorge cabins.
Lake Permits
All of our guests receive complimentary access to fish on our private stocked lake. Spend your day catching our huge Rainbow and Tiger trout or paddling around on one of our kayaks or paddle-boards that are available for rent.

Checkin Time: 4pm
Checkout Time: 11am
2 hour early check-in and 1-hour late check-out for $50. Add when you book, or call the front desk for availability. We cannot guarantee availability of this option.
Cancellation Policy
House Rules
Quiet Time is from 10pm-8am. Please be respectful of your neighbors who are here to enjoy the Flaming Gorge cabins just like you are. We are so grateful for your help making Red Canyon Lodge a wonderful place to be.
All rooms are non-smoking
A $250 fee will be charged for smoking in one of our cabins. All of our cabins are non-smoking and we strictly enforce Utah law. Outside smoking not allowed within 25 feet of building entrances, exits, air intakes, or windows.
If we smell or find evidence of smoking inside our cabins this $250 fee will be added to your stay.
Pet Policy
Pets are allowed for a $25 daily fee per pet. Pets over 50lbs are not allowed. We take extra cleaning efforts after each pet stay to ensure our cabins are left sparkling clean. Pets must not be left in cabins or anywhere on property unattended. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. As per the National Forest policy all pets must be on-leash at all times. Thank you for your cooperation!
If pet hair is found on beds or furniture an extra $50 cleaning fee will be applied to your stay. Please help us keep our rooms nice! Thank you for your help.
