RED CANYON LODGE

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Spend the summer in Flaming Gorge. Work in the mountains, play on the river, fish in our stocked lake, mountain bike, hike, and adventure. Make lifelong friends and experience the joy of seasonal work at Red Canyon Lodge!

We believe in a work life balance which means we work hard, and we play hard (or relax and bask in the sunshine by the lake).

Our team is crafted by our General Manager, Daisy Clark, pictured in group photo, bottom right. Daisy has done it all in the restaurant world – coming from the tourist and ski town of Park City. She came to the mountain in 2023 and never looked back, while tackling the task of rebuilding Red Canyon Lodge with the new owners, one renovation and department at a time. Since then, she has built a talented team around her, featuring past colleagues from her time in the world of hospitality and rounded out with local gems who highlight the character of the area. Going in to their fourth season, they have 17 returning employees joining them for the upcoming year!

Her talented partner, Trevor Cox, pictured in group photo, gold hat, middle, is the face of projects and major rebuilds happening here at Red Canyon. You can find Trevor rolling around under a cabin, rummaging around our historic tool shed, or out fishing our private lake – where he is often found, spoiling our stocked Trout with fish food.

Our restaurant is helmed by Jesse Herrera, pictured in group photo, white shirt, middle row left side, who joined former colleague Daisy in 2024 after spending time together at Glenwild and Hearth and Hill Park City. He has rethought our restaurant program – leveling things up with an eclectic wine program to match his dining menu. Jesse has a keen sense for detail – and is great at making small changes with high impact. The addition of linen napkins show his commitment to sustainability on our remote mountain.

Hanging out in the restaurant with Jesse, you will find B Carlson, pictured in the group photo, bottom left. B joined the team in 2023 and is one of our secret weapons here at Red Canyon. They can do just about any position at the Red Canyon – from answering the phones, to making beds in cabins, to grilling the perfect steak. You can even find them behind the camera – capturing special moments at our lodge. They have graciously taken on the task of Catering Chef and is excited to plan your next event or celebration!

Good attitudes and good references are a must. We expect a lot out of our employees but we also give a lot.  Employee activities, free food, incentives, shop discounts, sweet living accommodations right by the lake – trust us, it’s the best!
