Ponderosa Cabins
Ponderosa Cabin units are our premier flaming gorge lodging choice. Each cabin consists of two mirror image units that can be rented individually or rent the entire cabin with both units. Just open the lockout door to have room for 10 people.
Each unit includes a bedroom with two queen beds, a separate living room with custom log furniture including a sleeper sofa, small kitchenette with a two burner stovetop, wood burning stove and full bath. A covered porch overlooks an outside fire-ring, picnic table and serene East Greens Lake. All cabins are steps away from the seasonal dining and recreation offered on-site.
Book two Ponderosa units together and open up the lockout door in-between to have room for your large group.
Uinta Cabins
Our Amish built Uinta family cabins are our brand new Flaming Gorge lodging choice. Each cabin consists of one bedroom with a queen bed. A large living area with full kitchen, sofa, and bunkbeds. The full kitchen includes an oven with range, a full refrigerator, sink, microwaveand everything you need to make meals in your cozy cabin.
With custom log furniture, a cozy sofa, beautiful rugs and more, you will love your stay in our Uinta Cabins. We geared this cabin specifically for families or larger groups. Kids will love the loft area for playing games and having adventures. A covered porch overlooks an outside fire-ring, picnic table and serene East Greens Lake. All cabins are steps away from the seasonal dining and recreation offered on-site.
Alpine Cabins
These standalone cabins come either with two queen beds, or a king with a sofa-bed. Our newly renovated cabins have new bathrooms, new bedding, new mattresses, new rugs, new tables, and a whole new feel.
Our King Suites provide a perfect couples getaway for anniversaries, birthdays, valentines, or just to get away for a couple days in the beauty of the outdoors. The two queen rooms are perfect for friends, fishermen, or a young family with kids.
These Alpine cabins have log furniture, cozy living areas, and cozy comfort. Have a peaceful sit on the front porch, build a fire, or walk to the waters edge to watch the herons. You won’t be disappointed.

Outdoor seating and picnic tables are provided to enjoy your meals outside with the glorious views of our property.

Nothing says cozy like a wood burning stove. Have fun building a fire in your living room and get cozy with the ambiance of these fun fireplaces.
Bedroom Comforts
Crisp clean linens and towels are included with every stay. Curl up in our cozy beds for a good night sleep.
Lake Permits
All of our guests receive complimentary access to fish on our private stocked lake. Spend your day catching our huge Rainbow and Tiger trout or paddling around on one of our kayaks or paddle-boards that are available for rent.
Kitchenette
Each cabin includes a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave for putting together all of your meals.
Fire Pits
Fire pits are provided for roasting s’mores or enjoying a night out under the stars.
Paid WiFi (Reservation Recommended)
Due to the remote nature of our cabins we have not been able to ensure dedicated wifi to every cabin so free wifi is not guaranteed in the cabins. To help those who need reliable dedicated WIFI we have added the option of paid WIFI in our cabins. We have a few starlink units we will set up in your cabin for the duration of your stay. Reserve in advance to ensure availability. For free dedicated reliable wifi please use the internet in the Lodge. We continue to work on the internet situation in finding a solution that makes sense for our guests and business needs. Thank you for your patience.
Covered Porches
Each of our cabins have covered front porches with seating. Take a load off and relax while you enjoy the wildlife and views from our Flaming Gorge cabins.
Check in & Checkout
Checkin Time: 4pm
Checkout Time: 11am
1 hour early check-in and 1-hour late check-out for $50. Add when you book, or call the front desk for availability. We cannot guarantee availability of this option.
Cancellation Policy
All rooms are non-smoking
A $250 fee will be charged for smoking in one of our cabins. All of our cabins are non-smoking and we strictly enforce Utah law. Outside smoking not allowed within 25 feet of building entrances, exits, air intakes, or windows.
House Rules
Quiet Time is from 10pm-7am. Please be respectful of your neighbors who are here to enjoy the Flaming Gorge cabins just like you are. We are so grateful for your help making Red Canyon Lodge a wonderful place to be.
Pet Policy
Pets are allowed for a $25 daily fee. We take extra cleaning efforts after each pet stay to ensure our cabins are left sparkling clean. Pets must not be left in cabins unattended. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. As per the National Forest policy all pets must be on-leash at all times. Thank you for your cooperation!
