Flaming Gorge Cabins
21 cabins on a private lake, in the pines since 1930
Red Canyon Lodge has 21 cabins tucked into the ponderosa pines on the rim of Flaming Gorge, two miles from the Red Canyon Visitor Center and fourteen from the dam. Families have been coming back to this spot since 1930.
Every cabin has a covered front porch with seating, a picnic table and an outdoor fire pit with a flip-down grill, and we deliver complimentary firewood daily. Lodge guests fish our private stocked lake free of charge, and no Utah fishing license is required to do it. Three cabin styles sleep anything from a couple on a quiet getaway to a group of ten.

Ponderosa Cabins
Our premier Flaming Gorge cabins. Each Ponderosa is a duplex of two mirror-image units that can be booked separately or opened through a lockout door to sleep as many as ten. Kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, two-burner stovetop, microwave, coffee maker and dish service for four. Several have a wood-burning stove. See the Ponderosas
Uinta Family Cabins
Amish-built and our newest Flaming Gorge lodging. One bedroom with a queen bed, a large living area with bunk beds and a sofa, and a proper full kitchen: oven with range, full refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker and dish service for eight. The loft is the part kids argue over. See the Uintas
Alpine Cabins
Standalone cabins with either two queen beds or a king with a sofa bed, all newly renovated with new bathrooms, bedding, mattresses and furnishings. A microwave and mini fridge rather than a kitchen, so bring plates if you plan to cook. The King Suites are our pick for couples. See the Alpines
